光学分野の人材育成と研究テーマの創出

本寄付研究部門では、光学教育を通して、大学院生を中心とする次世代の人材育成に取り組むとともに、新たな研究テーマの創出に取り組みます。

多様化する社会課題に対して、技術を複合的に組み合わせて新たな価値を創出し、社会実装していくことが求められています。そこで、東京大学生産技術研究所の持つ幅広い知見をもとに、産業界が培ってきた光利用技術および精密技術と他分野の技術との融合を推進します。そして、将来的に社会が求める価値を産学連携で模索し、光・精密技術に立脚しつつ中長期的な未来の価値につながる研究テーマを創出します。

Human resources development in the field of optics and creation of research themes

“Nikon Optics & Precision Frontiers Research Program” will work to develop the next generation of human resources through optical education and create new research themes.
In response to diversifying social issues, new value needs to be created and implemented in society. Therefore, based on the broad knowledge IIS, UTokyo, we promote the fusion of optical and precision technologies cultivated by the industry with technologies from other fields. We will then explore the future value that society will demand through industry-academia collaboration, and create research themes that are rooted in optical and precision technologies and lead to long-term value.
