Course duration: April 16th, 2007 to July 17th, 2007
The first class was conducted by the Nikon Chair of Optical Engineering. During the class, a laptop computer was lent to each student to learn the basics of the applications of lens designing using the professional lens designing software "Code-V", along with practice sessions. In particular, the students who were interested in cameras were working on their first lens design with serious expressions on their faces.
